The Music

The Music

Live music at The Ear Inn — NYC's oldest bar at 326 Spring Street. Jazz, blues, folk and acoustic performances in an intimate Federal-style barroom since 1817.

The Music

Music has always been part of The Ear Inn. Long before the stages, the sound systems, and the schedules, musicians found their way to this corner of Spring Street and played.

Live at The Ear Inn

Three nights a week the bar fills with live sound. The room is small and the acoustics are honest — every note lands. Jazz, blues, folk, acoustic, and the occasional surprise. No cover. No pretension. Just good music in one of the oldest bars in New York.

Our Residents

Over the years The Ear Inn has become home to a rotating cast of regulars — musicians who come back season after season because the room suits the music and the crowd suits the room.

  • The Ear Regulars — the house band, playing every week
  • Guest performers rotating through the schedule
  • Open sessions and collaborations

Schedule

We host live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights starting around 8pm. Check our music schedule for upcoming shows or follow us on social media for last-minute additions.

The Podcast

The Ear Inn has recorded live performances in the bar and released them as a podcast — raw recordings, room sound and all. Search The Ear Inn on your podcast platform of choice.
