Galdort Gumbo & The Righteous Cats bring New Orleans-inspired jazz and funk to The Ear Inn.
This is party music with roots — second-line rhythms, jazz improvisation, and funk grooves that owe as much to Congo Square as to the downtown New York scene. Galdort Gumbo leads a band that clearly loves what they do, and it shows from the first note.
The Ear Inn has been a home for New Orleans-influenced music for years. This is one of those nights.
